Outstanding results from the entire NZ Team over the whole World Cup. 

In the final competition before Rio, the Kiwi Team looked strong and determined. Great results from Lisa Carrington and the Womens K4 Team – four Golds, one Silver and two Bronze. Great stuff!

World Cup 3: 3-5 June 2016, Montemor-O-Velho, Portugal

Lisa won double gold, winning both the WK1 200m and WK1 500m.
Marty placed 9th in the K1 1000m A Final.

World Cup 2: 27-29 May 2016, Raçice, Czech Republic

The NZ Women Smashed it! Congrats to the NZ K4 Women’s Team, Jaimee Lovett, Aimee Fisher, Caitlin Ryan and Kayla Imrie, who won Bronze in the K4 500m. Jamie and Aimee also won Gold as the NZ K2 Women Team in the WK2 200m

World Cup 1: 20-22 May 2016, Duisburg, Germany 

Great results for the NZ Women. Lisa Carrington won a Gold Medal in the WK1 200m, and a Silver Medal in the WK1 500m. Aimee Fisher raced well in the K1 200m for 8th Place in A Final (setting a personal best time). NZ K4 Women won a Bronze in the WK4 200m and fifth in the WK500. Marty McDowell was fighting illness and placed 3rd Place in C Final of the MK1 1000m.
